Mittagong is the first stop in the Highlands for a lot of people, and it’s a busy mix of older cottages, newer family homes, rentals and shops. With bushland around Mount Gibraltar and the Nattai close by, pests don’t have far to travel to reach your place.
We look after homes and businesses right across Mittagong. Every job gets the same thorough inspection, a clear explanation of what we find and a treatment that suits the property.
These are the pests we see most in Mittagong, and what usually brings them in.
Black house spiders on window frames and redbacks in garages, letterboxes and under outdoor furniture.
Ants marching through kitchens and bathrooms in warmer months. We target the nest so they don’t keep coming back.
European wasp nests in yards and roof spaces, especially in homes backing onto bushland.
German cockroaches in rental kitchens and the cafés and takeaways along Main Street.
Homes near bushland and older cottages are worth checking every year with radar and thermal imaging.
Rodents in roof voids and garages once the cold sets in. Locked bait stations keep kids and pets safe.
Mittagong winters are cold, and that’s when we start getting calls about scratching in the roof. Older cottages and homes backing onto bush are the usual hotspots.
When the nights turn cold, rats and mice move into roof voids, wall cavities, sheds and garages looking for warmth and food. We use locked, tamper-resistant bait stations that are safer around kids and pets, and we show you where they’re getting in so you can seal up entry points and stop them coming back.
Mittagong has a lot of rental homes, and landlords and agents need pest control that’s quick to book and well documented.
We work with landlords, agents and holiday rental owners on routine treatments, end-of-lease flea treatments and annual termite inspections. You get clear written reports for your records, and we’re happy to work around tenants and guests.
Mittagong’s Main Street is lined with cafés, bakeries and takeaways, and every one of them needs reliable pest control behind the scenes.
Food businesses need regular, documented pest control to meet their food safety obligations. We’re ISO 9001 certified and trusted across 81 NSW Health sites, so you get scheduled services, discreet treatments and clear reports ready for your next inspection.
